Fall’s glorious explosion of color is Mother Nature’s final fling before the snow and cold of winter. From mid-September to mid-October, the brilliant colors of autumn foliage turn the hillsides into a panorama of red, orange, yellow and gold. Join fellow leaf-peepers from around the world as you enjoy this marvelous saturation of color. Drive along our back roads, climb a mountain peak or meander our trails on your ATV and feast on the abundance of color around every corner.

RiverFire Lights Up the Night

New Hampshire’s most colorful and creative fall festival takes place right here in mid-October, when RiverFire lights up the night. Bonfires are set ablaze on the Androscoggin River and appear to be floating on the water, hundreds of carved and lit pumpkins are on display, and dozens of family-friendly activities deliver a day and evening of fun and excitement. ATV fans will want to join the Zombie ATV Poker Run, which features zombie-themed décor and prizes!
